 Born and raised in Scotland, your hosts, Ed & Irene have also lived in Bermuda and Southern Ontario. They are now pleased to call Niagara on the Lake home. They came to Canada when Ed was transferred from Edinburgh to Toronto with the Bank. Irene was a teacher but decided to join the bank as Ed was getting transferred so often. Ed made a career move to Real Estate Appraisal in 1990 and has recently retired as President of his appraisal company. Both are avid travellers having toured Europe, Asia, USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Irene enjoys baking while Ed has taken a number of courses in Asian Cuisine. Having stayed at many B&B’s on their travels, they understand travellers needs while away from home and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you to Abacot Hall.
